The rapid development of long-span grid structure is promoting the creativity of the corresponding construction method.The progressive segment hoisting method for the construction of a long-span grid structure is a kind of innovative construction technology,which combines the original grid,tensile cables,temporary supports and hoisters to erect the grid by segments.Based on the construction of the long-span grid structure of the coal storage bunker of Inner Mongolia Termeer Thermoelectricity,this thesis studies the structural and mechanic characteristics of the progressive segment hoisting method,and offers some helpful suggestions about the construction.The main contents are listed as below.(1)The detailed techniques for the progressive segment hoisting method along with its advantages compared to traditional methods are discussed,and the key techniques are noted.(2)The structural model and mechanic problems are analyzed,and the approaches to determine the arrangement of tensile cables and hoisting points are proposed.The sequence of installation is also presented.(3)The Ansys software is utilized to simulate the construction process of the given long-span grid structure.By switching the state of a certain finite element between “alive” and “dead”,the dynamic change of the grid structure is imitated.(4)According to the results of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,some suggestions about the construction are proposed.
