Automatic Detection Device For Battery Insulator Deletion

Due in modern social life, battery has been widely used in various fields. With the development of society and fast pace of life rhythm, demand for batteries is also increasing. People will pay much more and more attention to the quality of batteries. While improving cell production capacity at the same time, how to ensure the quality of battery has become a problem which production enterprises attach great energy to. Battery insulating diaphragm is an important component to prevent the positive and negative electrodes of battery short circuit. If lack of battery insulating diaphragm, it will be accidentally affect battery quality and cause unnecessary losses. Traditional detection of insulating sheet often adopts human visual detection method, considering today’s high speed battery production line form, workers detect the insulation sheet by their eyes, so there is a quality problem.In order to improve the monitoring level of dry battery quality effectively, and to reduce or avoid the occurrence of product quality accident, this paper presents automatic detection method that will become inevitable trend to instead of artificial detection method, which uses cell image processing based on machine vision to replace the human visual insulating sheet. According to the structure characteristics of battery, automatic detection device of battery insulating piece missing is designed. Detection algorithms of machine vision in this paper are conducted in-depth research, and summed up a detection method suitable for battery insulation piece missing. Including working principle of the automatic detection device, the hardware system design and software program design, it does a detailed introduction and analysis. Through the experiments it verifies the practicability of the design of automatic detection device, and can effectively detect the battery insulator missing.This paper mainly includes the following contents:(1) According to the characteristics of the battery and the insulating piece, it puts forward a way insulating sheet deletion detection method based on machine vision, and the feasibility of this method is proved by experiment;(2) Design a automatic detection device of insulating piece missing cell, consisting of the hardware design and software system;(3) Do experiments of the device of system design, and analyses.
