Neutron nuclear data include all data in reactions between neutron and atom, which is important data in development and utilization of nuclear energy. It is a important issue to measure reliable and precision neutron nuclear data in current international nuclear data field, neutron nuclear data measurement need development of neutron source and detection technology.China Spallation Neutron Source is a large accelerator facilities under construction, CSNS has the ability to provide wide spectrum range and high neutron fluence white neutron source. So a new white neutron source pipe is designed at the contra-angle direction of proton beam in CSNS, and related neutron reaction detectors are developed in order to gain neutron nuclear data. CSNS_WNS BaF2 (Barium Fluoride) detector is one of the detectors, BaF2 detector array is a 4π angle-shaped detector array consisting BaF2 crystals, it is used to measure the (n,y) reaction cross section. This paper researched the clock and trigger distribution method in readout electronics of CSNSWNS BaF2 detector.To design the clock and trigger distribution method for readout electronics of CSNS_WNS BaF2 detector, this paper makes an investigation of clock and trigger distribution method in physical experiment internationally at first. According to the investigation, a technical route of clock and trigger distribution method is proposed. Then the design work is analyzed in detail, and the the key technology is studied. The distribution method and individual modules are verified at last.These paper proposed a high density clock and trigger distribution method which is based on Serdes, PXIe platform, and equalization technologies, this research provide a high quality clock and trigger for CSNS_WNS BaF2 readout electronics, which can ensure the measurement and data transmission. The proposed clock and trigger distribution method has advantage of high precision, high density and scalability, etc. it can also be applied to other detector readout electronics systems.
