disturbance caused by traction current of electrified railway may affect the normal operation of trackside equipment.The rail side communication circuit suffer serious electromagnetic interference, which may lead to signal failure, affecting the operation of the train. It is an important engineering and academic problem to study the electromagnetic compatibility of the railway communication cable.Based on the theory,crosstalk between cables is analyzed and measures to reduce crosstalk are proposed for practical cabling on rail side.Firstly, based on the transmission line theory and the circuit theory,combined with engineering condition, cable simulation models for each theory are built to analyze the crosstalk between cables. And for the transmission line model, the calculation method of the distribution parameters is derived.Besides,model of multi-shielded cable are built to analyze effect of shield and pigtail on crosstalk.Based on these models.simulation is set up by MATLAB to analyze effect of shield and pigtail on crosstalk.Based on the engineering condition,cable simulation models are built by simulation software according to different kinds of cable and pigtail, which identifies the main source of harassment. Effect of different type of cable and pigtail is analyzed by means of crosstalk coupling coefficient.The simulation data agree well with the theory, which verify the validity of the theoretical model.In order to find out the reason of cable simulation error, we measure the disturbance beside the railway. Harassment voltage and disturbance current on different kinds of shield are measured to research the relationship between the cable crosstalk and traction current. On the base of test data, we find the main disturbance source.The shielding effectiveness of cable is calculated to analysis the effect of shielding layer on the crosstalk.Test platform is set up based on the practical condition.EFT experiment and magnetic pulse field test are set up to simulate disturbance on cable. The experiment is carried out for different kinds of cables and different distance between ground wires.On the base of test data,measures to reduce crosstalk are proposed for practical cabling on rail side.
