With the development of urbanization, we take the plain area of Beijing city as an example to analysis the landscape development strategy of urban afforestation area which is belong to the urban green space under the view of landscape architecture. Based on theoretical research, case analysis and field research, we put forward the dynamic and sustainable development strategy from macro to micro combined with the social, political and economic conditions of Beijing.Firstly, we analyzed the characteristics and problems of urban green land and plain afforestation area in Beijing. We implement the upper planning, draw lessons from the domestic and international related research and practice cases, and then proposed three levels of macro, meso and micro landscape to enhance the development strategy and summarized its application way.Specifically speaking, we build urban green network as a target in macro strategy which including needs analysis both with green positioning. Studies have shown that afforestation landscape development should guarantee the forest ecological benefits into full play, to meet the need of urban development, to help improve the urban green space system, and to make it into and supplement Beijing urban green network system as well. And in meso level, we intend to build infrastructures, enhance the comprehensive function of green space and do the management and maintenance with a model of the way. The design of the site should play the comprehensive functions of green land system and create humanized space. Lastly, in micro level, we put the basic elements as a unit and studied the specific methods in the view of landscape architecture. And it should take advantage of specific landscape means to enhance the transformation of existing forests according to different conditions in different afforestation areas in micro level.
