Wind power control devices are the core and foundation of wind power equipment, and its stability and reliability play a decisive role in the safe operation of the equipment. At present, most wind-power equipments work under the conditions of extreme temperature and high humidity, which will considerably affect the reliability of wind power control devices. In this paper, based on the working conditions of wind power equipment, a set of environmental test platform for the temperature and humidity testing of power electronic equipment is developed. The main study contents are shown as follows:1. The general scheme design of environmental test platform and the structure design of test chamber and air volume measuring section are involved in my study.According to the requirements for the testing environments, the overall plan for an environmental test platform which is adopted for the temperature and humidity control is designed. According to the general scheme, a closed loop system is established, which is composed of a test box, a refrigeration system, a heating system,a humidity system and an air duct measuring section.2. According to the requirements for the testing environment, the work scheme of environmental temperature control and humidity control of the test platform is determined. The corresponding heating capacity, cooling capacity and humidification capacity under different testing condition is also determined.3. With the numerical simulation method, based on FLUENT software platform,the flow field, temperature field and humidity field of the test chamber are numerical simulated. According to the simulation result, the lateral flow approach is adopted as the way for air supply.4. The overall structure design of the test platform and its experimental verification are implemented. Based on the theoretical knowledge and simulation results, the overall structure design of the environmental test platform was completed,and a 3D model was established.After passing the test conducted by our customer, the platform is identified to met all design requirements successfully. The test platform is now delivered to Beijing Etechwin Electric Co.,Ltd for the formal application.
