Traditional Block Landscape Design Based On The Theory Of "Reductionism"in Wudianshi, Jinjiang

This text based on the traditional block landscape as the research focus, using the "reductionism" in the semiotics theory of thinking and methodology to interpret traditional block landscape again, construct the traditional block based on the theory of the "reductionism" landscape design theory frame, to explore the method and thinking of traditional streets landscape change, to create traditional block landscape visual environment with rich context.This text used the "restoration" theory of the research methods in the design of the traditional block landscape transformation, from the three aspects,the signified and signifier,and means to analyze the traditional block landscape, space design, cultural transmission system.In the level of signifier,this article discusses the traditional block symbol expression,namely, the form of the traditional block style and context, as the study of the visible part of symbol study.In the level of signifier, this article discusses the content of traditional block symbols, namely the meaning expressed by the traditional blocks, conveys to the audience mental representation and the effect of the spread of the blocks.In the level of means, this article discusses the symbolic meaning of traditional block production and reduction process, it is the symbol of the performance of the process of traditional block socialization, history, culture, but this is a symbol combination process also often being ignored.This text summed up the traditional block based on the theory of the "reductionism" landscape design methods and principles.Finally, a practical landscape design project will be an example, then be applied to the analysis and design of the traditional block landscape renovation of traditional blocks based on the design of the "reductionism" theory,to practice the feasibility of the test theory.This text analyse traditional block landscape transformation, in-depth understanding of the composition of the street and the deep structure of the street through signified, signifier and means, made clear "reductionism" thinking methods and forms of the traditional block reconstruction, reform of the traditional block landscape and summarizes the application of general principles of "reductionism", thus analyse information of the street and space promotion the street better.
