Since 2009, China has become the largest vehicle producer and market in the world for seven years, therefore it is a big car-consuming country. The sales volume of cars is being up especially in the large and medium-sized cities, which has posed a serious threat on the transportation and the ecosystem. The key technology to solve the problem above is the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), which has attracted much attention from the domestic area both in application and research aspect. Nevertheless, the vehicular control systems is gradually exposed to the cyber environment at the same time, which has brought a great challenge to the revolution and development of IoV. The security of CAN bus and its related cyber environment has become the key point for research. Besides, the network security of vehicles is crucial to the physical and financial security of passengers. Thus, the security of vehicles bus and vehicular control system must be considered in many aspects to avoid the threats while we develop applications about IoV.To solve the security problems hidden in the vehicle bus, this paper builds the model about the CAN bus to analyze the possible attacked ways and moreover proposes some secure control functions based on the model to improve and rebuild the model.1. Analysis security problems of vehicle CAN bus by modeling:the constructed mod-els include CAN controller model, arbitration model, CAN transceiver model and error handling model which are used to check the security properties of the vehicle bus.2. To solve the security problems of the vehicle bus under the Internet, the models of security control are proposed to protect the vehicle bus from external information: this paper takes OBD interface as an example to illustrate the importance of the vehicle bus security under the Internet, and to solve the attack ways existing in the vehicle bus, this paper uses authentication, risk assessment and bus protection methods to ensure vehicle bus security. 3. Establish the experimental environment for the bus applications with the exist-ing hardware and software technology:this paper implements and evaluates the security control algorithms on the internet OBD devices to confirm the effect of se-curity control model by verifying the security of the vehicle bus with experiments and tools.Actual experimental results show that the proposed security model can effectively preserve the security of vehicle bus information resource and protect vehicle control system from external attacks. Therefore, this security model can ensure the reliability and security of Internet applications based on vehicle bus.
