Loder Crane truck, also known as car hanging truck, is installed on the regular or a special car crane or special vehicles, integrating hoisting and transportation, multi-purpose at the station, warehouse, wharf, construction site, the field rescue and so on. It is the most widely used in all kinds of engineering construction project crane. Thus increasing research on it and the development of it has big significance to the actual production. The main frame of the loder crane truck chassis is an important part composed of its structureit is the foundation of the loder crane truck in driving and assignments. Its sufficient strength and rigidity has great significance to guarantee the normal work of the vehicle. Due to considering most of the loading and torsion resistance of the main frame of the loder crane truck chassis in our country caused deformation and fracture of the main frame is prone in the process of users used. It is necessary to research and develop a new connection method. This paper used the optimized design theory, based on the main frame chassis connection parts as the foundation, optimized designed the lorry truck crane’s frame connections. First, calculated the forces of the main frame under two limiting conditions when lifting arm fluctuation angle is 40 and 80 degrees of through allowable stress calculation method, and carried out three-dimensional modeling and finite element analysis of two common connection domestic manufacturers, find the reason for deformation and fracture is that the maximum stress of the frame is larger than the yield strength of the frame material; then improved the existing problems of scheme, design a new type of connection by add an L plate, and optimize the structure of the part, and also verify its effectiveness through the three dimensional modeling and finite element analysis through CREO and MSC Nastran, make sure that the maximum stress of the frame is less than the yield strength of the material, and enhanced the intensity of the frame and reduce the occurrence of frame deformation and fracture.
