Truck crane is a kind of crane which is installed on the chassis of the ordinary car or special automobile chassis.The driving cab and the lifting control room are arranged separately.This kind of crane has the advantages of good mobility and rapid transfer.The disadvantage is that when the work is required to support legs,it can't load driving,nor suitable for soft or muddy ground work.The stability analysis based on the design code can't calculate the critical buckling load of the structure.The finite element method can be used to analyze the buckling of the arm frame,and the critical load of the boom is obtained,which can provide reference for the design and check of the arm.Truss arm is an important part of crane.The design of the truss arm is very important for the whole crawler crane.In the design of the truss arm,the arm has a very high strength,but the stiffness and stability of the problem has become increasingly prominent.This paper introduces the development status and trend of domestic and foreign automobile crane,and explains the main research content and research significance.And using parametric design language to establish the finite element model of round pipe and all kinds of arms.Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze the nonlinear buckling stability of circular tubes with different lengths and different types of arms.Buckling loads of circular tube and standard section are obtained by different methods of finite element buckling calculation.The results are summarized and analyzed,and the experimental load is determined.Through the finite element analysis,the buckling critical load of high strength steel circular tube and different types of boom were tested.Optimize the design of the research object to determine the final test sample.The buckling test of the highstrength steel tube is carried out on both ends of the joint,and then the buckling test of different types of the arm is carried out.The test data were collected through the correct experiment.Based on the finite element analysis results of the high strength steel tube and the results of circular tube test,the stability coefficient curve of high strength steel is obtained.Understanding the properties of high strength steel has a great significance to the design of the arm.The accuracy of the different methods of finite elementBuckling calculation is verified by the experiment of different types of arm frame buckling failure to provide theoretical basis for the analysis of stability problems.
