The world’s developed countries are actively developing fast freight logistics system. Along with the rise of China’s rapid development of network economy, the fast rail transport of 160km/h speed level will become an important rail transport supplement. We have depth researched 160km/h speed level fast freight car bogies and key technologies so far. There is no operational test experience of freight trains of 160km/h, whether the current brake and coupler buffer device can adapt it is unknown. The longitudinal dynamics of fast freight trains still need further discussion.This article will study the performance of longitudinal dynamics and longitudinal load spectrum simulation on fast freight train,and research its body fatigue damage. Its engineering significance is very obvious.In this paper, a study from the following aspects:1. Based on multi-body dynamics software simulate the coupler and buffer means, it proposed that buffer characteristic properties of the device for fast freight trains.2. Based on the study of current domestic KZ1 brake valve to the fast freight trains, it proposed its braking characteristics and calculated its braking characteristic.3. By multi-body dynamics software, we build the model of train. The distribution of the car body longitudinal coupler force is summarized, and longitudinal load factors were discussed.4. At the last, we get the load history in a typical operating conditions,compile the coupler force load spectrum by compiling universal principles abroad, and calculate container flat car body longitudinal damage by the fatigue damage calculation software.
