Turbine flowmeter is a instrument for measuring fluid flow and its main purpose is the quantitative measurement of gas or liquid. At present, the standard table method verification device or negative pressure method was mostly used by domestic turbine flowmeter manufacturers for sonic venturi nozzle calibration device under normal temperature and pressure, but in the practical application of turbine flowmeter often appear with the verification conditions are quite different. With the change of working conditions,turbine flowmeter measurement performance will also be affected. In this paper, the study on the performance of turbine flowmeter under some operation conditions and main research contents are as follows:(1) The working principle of the turbine flowmeter was analyzed and the mathematical model was established. The reason of the measuring error of the turbine flowmeter was analyzed according to the mathematical model.(2) The difference between the National standard and the European standard of turbine flowmeter was analyzed, in order to study the performance of turbine flowmeter.(3) Turbine flow meter test rig under room temperature and atmospheric pressure condition, experimental study on the influence of different impeller angle and different bearing on the performance of turbine flowmeter was carried out.(4) The experimental platform of turbine flowmeter under low temperature and atmospheric pressure condition was established, and the temperature effect on the performance of gas turbine flowmeter was studied through experiments under low temperatures from-25℃ to 20℃.(5) Turbine flowmeter test rig under room temperature and high pressure conditions.In the case of 1.5bar to 8bar, the gas turbine flowmeter is carried out many times underdifferent pressure. The influence of the fluid pressure on the performance of the turbine flowmeter was studied.
