With the continuous development of the city, the city’s traffic problems increasingly become a common problem in major cities. The city intersection as an important node in the city’s transportation hub, intelligent control its traffic signals, will play a crucial role in modern cities and urban intelligent process. How to use limited transportation resources, how scientific and rational urban intersection traffic signal control, to maximize the capacity of the city intersection, it has always been an important topic in the field of urban transport engineering research. Integrated technology to develop advanced information technology, computer technology and associated control algorithms implemented at city intersections and traffic lights intelligent control system can significantly reduce the cost of traffic operation and management, improve transportation efficiency. The continuous development of related technology and theory of intelligent control, the control system of urban intersection traffic signal provides a new solution.Firstly, urban intersection traffic signal intelligent control technology research background and significance are described in study after study researchers at home and abroad, combined with China’s specific national conditions, analysis of existing urban intersections Run the model and its Improve.
