With the rapid development of China’s high-speed railway, security issues and economic issues have become more prominent.The wheel wear problems are receiving more and more attention.Wheel wear problem not only increases the cost of high-speed rail operators, but also adversely affect the safe operation of high-speed rail.Controling wheel wear law for high-speed railway development and operation means great theoretical and practical significance.This thesis work carried out in the following aspects:(1)Firstly, the current status of research and Wheel Wear on the course of development at home and abroad is discussed, the purpose and meaning wheel wear prediction research is clear.(2) Domestic and international high-speed railway wheel wear status is investigated, jinghu jigh-speed railway wheel profile is tracked and measured, within a period lathing wheel wear case for data analysis.(3) A relatively complete wheel wear prediction and simulation model has been established based on UM. It included in the model vehicle track coupling dynamics model, the non-elliptical contact theory model, Archard wear model material.(4) We calculate the wheel wear and comparison with actual data, results are consistent, dynamic calculations are performed before and after the abrasion.(5) We selected rail profile shape, speed, combination of curves as the key factors affecting the wheel wear to simulate wheel wear.
