Due to the progress of science and technology, pipe jacking technology has advanced considerably in theory, process and equipment.Although all kinds of pipe jacking construction are used in most places, it is limited by natural factors, equipment and human factors in geological conditions of water-rich sand, pipe jacking construction appears easily various problems, Large resistance cause pipe jacking fail, reaction wall is destroyed, land in the head of jacking machine collapses, pipelines deviate from the design route and so on. As a result of no relevant experience about the above problems, “Construction technology on mechanical pipe jacking of extra large diameter and long distance pipe” is put forward, it is combined with the construction difficulties, emphases and condition on spot.Firstly, this paper summarizes the general development of pipe jacking construction technology, then it introduces the principle of construction technology on mechanical pipe jacking of extra large diameter and long distance pipe, including the technique principle, the process characteristic, the application scope and the analysis of the key technology. According to the rich experience of pipe jacking construction, it summarizes the construction technological process of construction technology on mechanical pipe jacking of extra large diameter and long distance pipe,containing process flow, key operation points and quality control measures.
