Research On The Public Space Of The Retirement Community In Chengdu Based On The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)

With the acceleration of population aging, there are more and more elder people, an aging population become a more focus on social issue. Retirement communities also belong to a relatively new field in our country. However, such communities are lack of theoretical researches and practical projects. Our country relatively lacks for this special crowd of human care for the elderly and described design.In order to solve the problems faced by the elderly in the living more effectively, and also to meet the actual needs of space. In this paper, the author will discover problems, analyze problems, and solve the problem according lots of researches.First of all, this article will make a research on present situation and characteristics of our country population aging, refer to retirement community development and theoretical literature at home and abroad, and combine these with the corresponding actual case analysis. According to this, the author will have a good command of the retirement community. Besides, the author will base the research on physical, psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly and their demand. Then, the visit and investigation of Chengdu retirement community is a must. According to all these, the author summarizes the current situation of Chengdu retirement community basic situation and problems, including that the community public space type is too simple, the optimum senile and security of the outer space function facilities, poor walking system and the continuity of the outer space is not strong, community greening landscape system and marking system of difficulty of identify problems. Based on theses, the author suggests the suitable type of Chengdu public demand of retirement community.Secondly, using the AHP to analyze and integrate the early stage of the survey data. Through the index structure system and model building, and the index system of empowerment, the author will calculate the index weight, and apply the data to Chengdu four actual retirement community, in order to analyze the problems of the suitability’for the elderly in real the external public space.Finally, the author will put forward some principles and optimization strategies in this paper, which is based on background information of Chengdu and the characteristics of the elder, combining with the present situation of Chengdu retirement communities, the foundation of structure svstem. as well as real case studies.
