In recent years, economy and society developed rapidly, many long-span roof structures came into being. As those structures has complicated shape factors that are not containing in present building code, so the wind tunnel test is needed to confirm the shape factors. Because of the wind tunnel test is constrained by many factors, it can provide limited measuring points which is far from the request of wind load research of long-span roof structures. So this thesis reconstructed and predicted the pressure field on the roof of Guian Railway Station by POD technique and numerical simulation.Through the above analysis, the work of this thesis is as follows:(1) This thesis introduced the development of long-span roof structure firstly to show the importance of reconstruction of the wind pressure field.(2) The rigid model wind tunnel test of Guian Railway Station was conducted. Based on the analysis of the result and POD technique, the pressure field on the roof was reconstructed and predicted by the first several proper models. The comparison between the result and the raw data was analyzed by statistics, time-histories, power spectrum and coherence function.(3) The wind load of Guian Railway Station was simulated by using CFD calculation software Fluent. The law of the pressure changes on the roof was got. Some functions were figured out by mathematic fitting based on the changes. The wind pressure coefficients of characteristic points were predicted by using these functions, and the comparison between predicted result and wind tunnel test result were conducted. This thesis was based on actual engineering. The conclusion can be reference for reconstruction of the pressure field on other similar long-span roof structures.
