The Load code for the design of building structures specifies wind load's important role in wind-resistant design of building structures.In the recent years,a variety of super high-rise buildings,long-span structures appear in people's life.Because these kinds of buildings are sensitive to wind load,wind load sometimes can play a decisive role in the process of design.So the wind-resistant design of this kind of buildings is a very important topic.As an auxiliary means of wind tunnel test to study wind load,the wind load numerical simulation method gradually play a more and more important role in the wind-resistance design.Since its remarkable advantages,such as economical efficiency,flexibility,timeliness and strong simulation,the wind load numerical simulation method has engineering practical significance in the research of structure surface wind pressure and wind field around.Based on CFD numerical simulation technology and Fluent software platform,this paper carries on numerical simulation of wind load,through analyzing,some regularities are found.The concrete work and conclusions are as follows:(1)First,illustrating the importance of wind-resistant design of structures and introducing the research status and methods of wind engineering at home and abroad,then wind characters,the concept of wind flowing around blunt-body and CFD basic theory are introduced,thus leads to the application of CFD technology and the feasibility of wind load numerical simulation about typical buildings based on Fluent software platform is proved.(2)Second,using the numerical simulation method to calculate the wind load of a concave shaped flat roof structure.Under different turbulence models,the wind pressure distribution cloud figure of every external facades and measuring points' pressure value are obtained.So the wind load shape coefficient can be acquired,compared with code value the conclusion that it's feasible to carry on wind load numerical simulation based on Fluent software can be drew.(3)At the last,a H-shaped building is analyzed under different wind direction angles.By analyzing,the law of measuring points' wind pressure distribution can be obtained.Then using numerical simulation method to calculate the research object which is under four different typical working conditions,and the regularity of windpressure and wind field distribution under different working conditions can be acquired respectively,the result can be used to provide reference for the similar buildings when it comes to wind resistant design.
