With the development of China’s urbanization and the increasing of population density, utilizing of underground space equitably is one of the very effective way. On the one hand, the development of the underground traffic engineering can effectively alleviate the pressure of the traffic of the city. But on the other hand, the tunnel excavation will unload effect to occur in the soil, and cause the deformation of the surrounding soils under the deformation to the buildings, and cause deformation of foundation. Due to the interaction between foundation, ground and building, that will make buildings settlement, and even make the building tilt, cracking and other damage. The city’s geological conditions is complex, with all kinds of buildings and pipelines. The construction of urban underground engineering has great security risk. Therefore, the research that the deformation of surrounding buildings caused by underground excavation construction is very important.This paper is based on a large number of literature which is at home and abroad and on the project that the Wu Zhou women’s hospital nearby the 4th air flue in the Jiu Long Shan Station in the 7th Beijing Subway tunnel. It will analyze the influence of the buildings nearby by tunnel excavation. in order to verify the reliability of numerical simulation, compare between the result of MIDAS-GTS and FLAC-3D numerical simulation and the calculation and monitoring data. The following is the research content of this article:1. Summarizes the research present situation and the theory of predecessors in this topic by a large number of literature which is at home and abroad about tunnel excavation method of metro tunnel construction influence on the nearby buildings.2. Analyze the result of MIDAS-GTS numerical simulation based in the project that the Wu Zhou women’s hospital nearby the 4th air flue in the Jiu Long Shan Station in the 7th Beijing Subway tunnel. It is concluded vertical displacement and horizontal displacement influence of the nearby buildings by tunnel excavation method of tunnel excavation and grouting reinforcement.3. In order to verify the reliability of numerical simulation, compare between the result of MIDAS-GTS numerical simulation and the calculation and monitoring data.4. It is necessary for soil grouting in the process of construction by comparing the different results of nearby buildings deformation between grouting reinforcement and without grouting reinforcement by tunneling construction of urban subway.
