Since the automobile has been invented over a hundred years, and now the car more as a daily necessities to become indispensable tool for people to travel and life. In the information age, the trend of realizing the real-time communication between the cars is becoming more and more obvious, the continuous updating of automotive technology has opened up a new field of wireless communication technology. On the other hand, with the increasing number of cars in the city, traffic conditions become crowded, at the same time, the rise of traffic accidents is a major challenge for human beings. Therefore, comprehensive intelligent transportation systems have increasingly attracted the attention from more people.Vehicle wireless communication system use IEEE802.11p as the underlying protocol, which is the extension and application of wireless LAN technology in new areas. IEEE802.11p is the underlying protocol which is used high speed mobile environment outdoors, its physical layer uses high frequency band utilization and anti-multipath interference capability of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation technology, this provides a good guarantee for the vehicle mounted wireless communication system, which makes it possible to transmit high data traffic between high speed mobile vehicles.In this article, the platform of research is USRP2 and GNU Radio, the object of study is OFDM. Through the analysis of the basic principle of OFDM and the structure of the SDR, OFDM communication system is implemented on USRP2 and GNU Radio platform, and analyzed the actual measurement results and we have simulated the highway vehicle anti-collision protocol.
