Steel beam-column welded joint under the action of earthquake energy dissipation ability is poor, prone to brittle failure high seismic intensity region, searching for a less weld connection, good seismic performance of steel structure of beam-column joints is particularly important, outer-shell connection joint will coat steel plate welding string wall in the factory in advance, have the effect of joint region of column wall thickening, construction site simply by high strength bolt connection and T connect square steel tube columns and H type steel beam, the joint has a high degree of structure is simple and assembe fast.This article mainly uses the pseudo-static experimental study on the outer shell type specimens under low cycle reciprocating load bearing capacity, ductility and energy dissipation capacity, and the nodes in the experiment of several different failure modes under the seismic performance is analyzed and compared; Consider whether concrete external bushing inside the steel tube column joint force performance, the influence of test nodes for the same size of the hollow steel tube and the seismic performance of concrete-filled steel tube joint made a comparative analysis; The research results show that different failure modes have different influence on the seismic performance of outer-shell connection joint,whether pouring concrete inside the steel tube column had a greater influence on the initial rotational stiffness of the node. According to the specification of the node classification standard, test research shows that outer-shell connection node for semi-rigid connection.Combining with theoretical analysis, the bearing capacity of the external bushing node and the initial rotational stiffness calculation, at the same time considering the joint shear, bending and the joint domain, according to the principle of "strong shear, weak bending", put forward the external bushing bearing capacity calculation method and process; Domain component based on joint mechanics model, and consider whether the column concrete influence on deformation of steel pipe column wall, puts forward the outer sleeve type node initial rotational stiffness of simplified calculation method. Through the specimen of the joint theoretical calculation value and experimental value contrast, demonstrate the external bushing bearing capacity and the initial rotational stiffness calculation method is more reliable, in the destruction of the preset mode, through the ultimate bearing capacity of the outer-shell connection joint and the initial rotational stiffness of bilinear bending moment-corner joints simplified model.Finally in this paper, Combining with experiental research and theoretical analysis, seismic design advice of outer-shell connection joint are proposed.
