The electric vehicle industry is gradually developing with the progress of technology, the requirement of environmental protection and the shortage of fossil fuels which can be predicted in the future. Due to the reason of economic and environmental, the electric vehicle will make an profound influence on the automobile market of the world, but the electric vehicles want to replace the internal combustion engine vehicle which need the great develop of power grid and a variety of energy supply way can make substantial progress.This paper introduces the development situation of the electric vehicle, electric vehicle charging station and electric vehicle charger,and analysis the influence of the electric vehicle charging put on the power system, mainly from two aspects including the harmonic produced by the process of different types of charger charging and the disordered charge, and research the corresponding solutions and measures according to these two questions to improve the power quality of power grid, reducing the large number of harmonics generated by the working process of the power plant. The concrete content is divided into following two parts:Firstly, making a harmonic characteristic analysis in the three kind of charger who is more mature technology and can be practical application in the electric vehicle charging station, including the following three charger: three-phase bridge uncontrolled rectification charger, 12 pulse rectifier charger and PWM rectification charger, this paper will make a different combinations of three kinds of charger access to the electric vehicle charging station for simulation analysis, and put forward a reasonable configuration mode of electric vehicle charging station according to the experimental results, to minimizing the harmonic content produced by the electric vehicle charging stationt.Secondly, in light of the different battery conditions when electric vehicle makes a charging, this paper uses Monte Carlo method to establishe EV charging load model, and establishe ordered charging model in order to prevent producing more power harmonic which exceeds the limit value of EV charging station for the purpose of minimizing the harmonic content of power network and variance of equivalent load curve, using the artificial bee colony algorithm to find optimal algorithm, getting the ideal control method of ordered charging. The simulation experiment shows, in part of average power grid load fluctuation,cuting power grid peak valley difference and reducing harmonic content is remarkable.
