Rock is basically material on earth, and it’s closely linked to the most important energy and resource. There is a necessary to have a clear cognition of the physical properties of rock when we are focusing on the energy and resource area. Study the different physical properties of rock in stratum environment is the main contents in rock physics. Usually the temperature and pressure are more than 600℃ and 1 GPa in stratum environment. But, when we put our attention to the energy area, the research situation couldn’t arrive such temperature and pressure. There is a relationship between physical properties and geophysical response. It has a significance to confirm this relationship for resistivity well logging and kinds of geophysical prospection method.Based on the previous study, this paper elaborates on the usage of rock experiment and experimental data statistics and analysis under the guidance of rock physics theory to study the rock physical properties of shale from Zhaotong area in Yunnan province and sand stone from Dagang oil field in Tianjin. The study mainly covers rock physical experiment designing, data statistics analysis, data inverse, relationship between physical properties and geophysical response and the effect on experiment situation.(1). Measured the basic physical properties such as mineral composition, clay content, porosity and density. Measured the complex resistivity in reservoir condition and high pressure with temperature by AutoLab-1000 and SI1260/1296. Discussed the relationship among dispersion property, salinity, clay content, porosity, temperature and pressure. Use the inversion program to get the frequency spectral parameter. And the result indicate the different factors make different effects on frequency spectral property. The rising of salinity and temperature will decrease the amplitude of complex resistivity and degree of polarization. On the other side, the clay content and porosity will affect this influence generated by temperature.(2). We put the shale samples in the reservoir condition and room temperature with changing pressure. Use AutoLab-1000 to get the elastic parameters include:P wave velocity, S wave velocity, Young’s modulus, Poisson ratio. Analysis the elastic parameters property of shale rock in the reservoir condition. Discuss the effects on elastic parameters, which generated by temperature and pressure. The results show that the response of elastic parameters is controlled by pressing process ad fracture direction.(3). Use AutoLab-1000 and SI1260/1296 to measure the complex resistivity of shale samples in room temperature without pressure situation, room temperature with changing pressure and reservoir condition. Process the experiment data by inversion program to get the frequency spectral parameters. Analysis the relationship between experiment parameters and frequency spectral parameters. The results show when the temperature rising, the RO decrease, polarization rise, time constant decrease. There is no clear relationship between frequency factor and temperature.
