Underground rail transit station permanently buried under the natural ground, the conventional underground station in the architectural space design and use exist some problems, such as poor permeability, poor light, people feel depression, poor ventilation, no sense of direction and. In order to effectively alleviate this defect, engineering designers will be the general housing construction in the atrium structure into the underground station. Metro Station atrium space concept, generally refers to the expansion of the public area of the middle plate opening size, so that the station hall, the site of the public area in space through, transparent, and the formation of the public area of the station as a whole space sharing. The use of atrium structure makes the underground station in the space, ventilation, lighting and other aspects of the sensory effect has improved significantly.The application of Atrium Structure in subway station also brings new problems to the structural design staff. Relative to general station, large plate opening, plate of the side wall of the box type structure, the column lateral supporting effect was seriously weakened, overall stiffness of the structure also occurred in the larger changes, the safety of metro station structure can guarantee to become the construction scheme is feasible.By using numerical simulation method, underground station full size three-dimensional model was established by using large-scale finite element software MIDAS GEN, mainly from a plate of underground station in large opening effect of the station structure were studied. That is to maintain the external conditions unchanged, respectively, to establish the use of different sizes and openings in the operating conditions of the three-dimensional model, analysis of different openings and opening position on the structure of the force and deformation of the impact.The results show that the stiffness of the plate is decreased, and the restraint function of the plate to the side wall is also reduced. After the station in the large opening, due to the reduced load in the cover plate, the plate bending moment decreases, but the hole plate stiffness is weakened, the lateral displacement hole within plate increases rapidly after opening, weakened; restraint plate on the side wall, for the three layer of the station and this greatly increased the span of the side wall, side wall and bottom plate lead to intersect vertical bending moment at the value of increasing rapidly, at the same time, the middle side wall also appeared larger lateral displacement; while for the longitudinal beam, plate opening, due to the reduced overlying load, reducing the vertical bending moment. However, due to the stiffness of the plate is weakened, the longitudinal transverse bending, transverse deformation and axial tension increases; the pillar, in plate hole, reduce the longitudinal bending moment of the columns, lateral bending moment increases, reduce the column axial force, lateral displacement The maximum transverse moment and lateral displacement appear in the middle part of the large openings in the atrium. The internal force of the structure and the lateral deformation and the size of the hole is linear change, the opening position of the structure of the force and deformation of the influence is not obvious.
