In recent decades, the energy issue has become a topic which attract our concern and attention. Therefore, the development of new energy projects are springing up, the study of the intelligent super capacitor energy storage system is one aspect of the projects. With the development of social economy, more and more attention has been received on the green energy and ecological environment. The super capacitor energy storage is gradually valued by people.At present, battery is widely used in energy storage devices. Compared with battery energy storage, super capacitor energy storage has the advantages of high power density, high temperature performance, long cycle life, flexible capacity allocation and so on. Therefore, in some of the peak value of the occasion, the use of super capacitor as the energy storage device have more advantages than the battery. At present, the super capacitor capacity has reached the level of million Fala, which is a very large number. Although the power density of the super capacitor is large, its output characteristics are soft. In the super capacitor discharge process, the voltage and charge is proportional to the voltage. So, with the discharge process, the two ends of the voltage will drop rapidly, which seriously affects the quality of power supply.In this paper, We present and validate a model that can make the super capacitor voltage stability, in the discharge process. In this model, the charging process uses a constant current charging, so as to shorten the charging time. With the rise of the super capacitor terminal voltage, when the power flows through the chopper to reach the rated power, switch to a constant power charge, until the super capacitor to reach the rated voltage, so that there can be enough to ensure a fast charging speed. In the discharge process, with the decrease of the voltage of the super capacitor, the bidirectional DC/DC converter plays a role in the model, and the output voltage is constant.The intelligent super capacitor energy storage system can make the charging rate reach the fastest in the existing conditions, and can overcome the shortcomings of the super capacitor output characteristics. This paper has some reference value for the research on the intelligent super capacitor energy storage system.
