With the excessive use of traditional energy sources and growing environmental problems, solar energy as a clean and non-polluting, renewable energy, has attracted more and more attention. As a new and efficient way to use solar energy, the photovoltaic/thermal utilization technology combines the use of photovoltaic and solar thermal utilization and greatly improves the utilization efficiency of solar energy, so it has been widely used and rapid development. In order to improve the output power of photovoltaic cells and the outlet temperature of solar thermal systems, condenser technology is an important part in the design of photovoltaic/thermal system. Aiming at compound parabolic concentrator (CPC) in the concentrating photovoltaic/thermal(PV/T) system, this article has been studied from the following aspects:1) The geometry of CPC was calculated and analyzed. The size parameter of CPC in concentration ratio from 2 to 6 and interception ratio of 0.1 to 1 was calculated, and analyzed the impact of truncated concentrator performance mainly from the concentration ratio, the maximum Condenser angle and height.2) The optical properties of a compound parabolic concentrator were simulated and analyzed by Using three-dimensional modeling software SolidWorks and optical simulation software LightTools. The Condenser in geometric concentration ratio 2-6 and interception of 1,0.5,0.3 were analyzed about intensity and uniformity. The condenser in geometric concentration ratio of 4 interception ratio of 0.5 and geometric concentration ratio of 5 interception ratio of 0.3 in two similar dimensions were analyzed by finding the best uniform receiving surface position and eliminate secondary reflections of two ways to determine the final size parameters of condenser.3) 1KW power of CPC-PV/T system test bed was set up and analyzed about condenser performance, electrical and thermal properties. In Condenser performance, the light intensity distribution of theoretical and experimental values on the condenser outlet-receiving surface were analyzed comparatively In electric experimental aspects of performance, focusing on the constant outlet water temperature of 45℃ and three different flow 120L/h,160L/h,200L/h working conditions, the power and efficiency of the system changes the situation was analyzed.
