With the continuous growth of population and the development of the world economy, energy demand continues to increase, with coal as brought about by the traditional way of generating environmental pressure is more and more, while vigorously developing nuclear power and a great security risk. In this case, photovoltaic power generation can be as an alternative energy sources, in the world within the scope of gradual spreading and application. Because the photovoltaic power generation is affected by the natural environment, it is periodic and intermittent, which affects the power quality of the power grid, the metering and charging, and the reliability of the power supply.In this paper, the domestic and international photovoltaic power generation were briefly introduced. Secondly on the electrical energy quality concept has carried on the concise elaboration again of photovoltaic power generation system operating conditions and power to quality analysis, the corresponding control strategy are briefly described in this paper. Finally, through the introduction of photovoltaic power generation systems engineering examples, such as Xinjiang energy Yandun photovoltaic power plant project in about power quality aspects of the application in practical engineering.
