Traditional energy reserves is decreasing in recent years, and waste gases from fossil fuels is one of the main factors of global warming, acid rain and other environmental problems, environmental pollution will directly affect human health. Therefore, to seek clean alternative energy sources for the sustainable development becomes a research hotspot.Wind, solar and other renewable energy have received widespread attention. The solar energy is abundant, clean and widespread, which promotes the development of solar energy technology, solar photovoltaic power generation is developing rapidly. Application of photovoltaic power generation, to a certain extent, relieves the tense situation of energy.With the continuous development of photovoltaic industry, the scale of system is increasing, the power level is also rising. This paper proposed to apply structure of three-phase interleaved Boost converter to photovoltaic system to decrease output current ripple of photovoltaic cells, reduce current through each inductance and reduce the loss of converter. A MPPT algorithm based on duty ratio optimization was proposed for three-phase interleaved Boost converter. At the same time of realizing maximum power tracking, three inductance current eaquls to each other. Three-phase interleaved DC-DC converter was used as energy storage device due to its advantages to transfer energy with DC bus. For the photovoltaic system with energy storage, a control algorithm based on system state was proposed. It controlled photovoltaic side converter and energy storage converter respectively to make whole system stable. Simulation model was built in PSCAD/EMTDC and it is verified by the simulation that the MPPT algorithm based on duty ratio optimization and coordination control algorithm are feasible. Then an experimental platform was set up, and the proposed control algorithm was proven to be effective on the hardware platform.
