In power system operation process, reasonable adjustment of reactive power can improve the stability of the system and the role of maintaining the system voltage. But in the electric power system is little linear determination of reactive power optimization, optimization strategy which is a multi-objective, nonlinear mixed programming, dynamic programming problem with multiple constraints.To ensure the quality of the node voltage of traditional reactive power optimization operation of power generation enterprises, by adjusting the generator terminal voltage, power grid enterprises through the mediation of transformer tap position, parallel reactive power compensation devices capacity to realize the economic operation of the system, the available transfer capability of the mediation of limit state under the whole power system (Available Transfer Capability, ATC) lack of consideration. In the traditional ATC algorithm has not been considered present throughout the electric power dispatching and the widespread use of AVQC (automatic voltage and reactive power control system) for optimal reactive power flow in the system, AVQC will change from time to time in power system reactive power and voltage and phase angle, the accuracy of the impact on power system ATC calculation will be relatively large. With the China grid network range is more and morebig, the grid scheduling using the error of ATC data will affect the stability of direct system.In this paper, author of power system reactive power optimization scheme is put forward their own views:pointed out the strategy of reactive power optimization of available transfer capability (ATC) system is considered inadequate; available transfer capability will enhance the system with reactive power optimization of power strategies; available transfer capability (ATC) calculation methods of the induction and the summary of the existing power system; operation mode based on both the power system voltage stability and can improve the available transfer capability (ATC) is a new algorithm:through the use of immune computation method will increase the available transfer capability of power system (ATC) as a reactive power optimization objective to analyze the results of the experiment calculation finally the algorithm; the corresponding test in the IEEE-30 node in the system, test results show that the method proposed in this paper, the ATC is accurate and reliable, and this method has a certain role in the regulation of the power grid for automatic reactive power optimization, this method is not only convenient for calculation, but also to enhance the operation efficiency of the electric power system.
