| The number of aging population in China is rapidly rising all the time and the problems caused by aging population followed.The whole community must actively respond to those problems.The most important thing of providing for the elderly is keeping them health and improving their living standards.According to China’s current economic condition,social security system and tradition living culture,home-based care has always been the most common mode of pension mode in China.As the carrier of home-based care,old existing residential can not meet living needs of aged in nowadays because the low standard in the past.Those old residential has been took a lot of inconvenience to home-based care,even make adverse impact on the personal safety and mental health of the old,which resulting in an urgent renovation needs.This paper takes old existing residential in Hefei as the research object, integrated using literature research,field research,inductive analysis and other methods,combined with related disciplines such as geriatric psychology and environmental science.In this paper,it based on the field research of existing residential status in Hefei and the actual needs of the old,then summed up the problems of home-based care.According to different transformation needs of the dwelling space,this paper generalize basic and recommended two levels of transformation strategies and methods.Trying to solve the contradiction between the low level suitable for aging and the high demand of aging,and finally improve the living conditions and the quality of home-based care life in Hefei.The paper can be divided into four parts:(1)Chapter one,ask a question.The background,purpose,meaning and other related theories of this subject are discussed and demonstrating the urgency and great value of existing residential renovation catering for the elderly in Hefei.(2)Chapter two,theoretical research.To understand the physical and psychological characteristics and behaviors of elderly,then define the basic features of ideal residential for elderly.At the same time, summarize the objectives,principles,basis and standards of renovation and take them as theoretical basis for the paper.(3)Chapter three and four,analyze the problem. Through data collection and field research,summarizing the characteristics and current conditions of existing residential in Hefei.Regarding the elderly living in the representative residential as main survey, and summarized from the survey data,the old residential fitness aging and lack of problems, summed up the elderly occupants transformation needs.(4)Chapter five,solve the problem.Discussion suitable specific measures for the renovation for elderly in both Inner space and public space.Then,generalizing basic and recommended two levels of renovation strategies. |
