As the way of reading and publishing mode diversification, the bookstore and print media have been battered by electronic reading terminal and network bookstore. The topic in this paper takes the traditional bookstore as main discussion object, explores the transformation of its development model in the future--the experiential marketing model of book bar.On the basis of tapping the potential of the advantage by bookstore,this thesis summarizes its properties and characteristics, promotes the transformation of entity bookstore.Author think that book bar is an effective way to solve the problem about the transformation of bookstore.To explore creativity book design elements, in the first step,the thesis focuses on excavating the cultural attributes of the book itself and highlighting its cultural functions; Second,in the aspect of using cultural elements emphasizes diversity, making full use of the book is the joker of culture and other cultural products;Third, penetrating multi-functional service concept and introducing the culture of "bar".In alignment with the book design positioning, the paper discusses the design strategy of the book bar in three dimension the basic attributes of book bar, scale and space positioning.Decoration design should be revolved around the basic attributes of books. Books in the book bar is not only the goods, and works of art, with functions of display adornment, therefore, culture is reflected in book decoration positioning on first. The appearance of the book, not only because of the pressure under the online bookstore and electronic books,but also a drive from the readers in the pursuit of quality of reading, therefore, the taste of the book bar’s function area design should located in comfortable, elegant, quiet, recreational. According to the actual situations of the current book, the book bar space can be divided into large, medium and small size, location and indoor space structure also varies, so the book in positioning for the different space design is mainly reflected in the light of local conditions around book bar’s essential attribute, but also take into account the bookstore "bar".The paper takes a book bar named Encounter as the case to interpret design concept and design strategy of book bar. In the design, according to the setting of regional characteristic, target consumers life rule, functional requirements and aesthetic consciousness, author adheres to "people-oriented" design principles and complete the design. The Encounter book bar is designed to "people-oriented" design concept as the design of the main line, aims to make people forget the stress in your life and enjoy the pleasure of reading and relaxation, so that to achieve a kind of spiritual solace and full. At the same time, along with comfortable, elegant, romantic, close, warm and generous atmosphere, it creates the ideal garden of people’s life have a rest.
