Theme Hotel Room Interior Design Based On Experience Perspective

With the advent of the era of experience economy, people pay more attention to their own experience.As far as the hotel industry,experience is the customers’ experience.Meeting the demand of residents’ experience is a new kind of design idea of theme hotel in the era of experience economy.From the perspective of the nature of "experience",it is a profound impression in memory of the human brain, which enables us to recall the life course at any time before. The purpose of the theme hotel is to give guests such kind of memory and to win a place in the fierce market competition.Under the background of the era,hotel indoor design should be based on the perspective of consumers’ experience,reflect the characteristics of theme hotel rooms’ space,color,decoration and display and bring guests different experience,which is the theme of the project in which the personalized requirements was thought and talked about.And satisfying the personalized needs of consumers is always being the focus of this project which hopes to provide a new reference to the theme hotel guest room design and create a new form of theme hotel rooms.Based on experience perspective,the Changsha Beautiful-Home Micro theme hotel was designed and constructed,being referred to the theory of consumers’ experience and combined with the characteristic of indoor design of theme hotel’s guest room. Basically,the following work was down:(1)the present social background and environmental background of the project and the present situation of the theme hotel room was analyzed and summarized and the necessity of research on the theme hotel rooms in the era of experience economy and the importance of design of micro hotel rooms based on experience of residents was realized.(2)the concept, characteristics and classification of theme hotel room design and the influence of different theme hotel were represented, the design principles and design elements between them were discussed in the experience under the perspective, and the actual cases about theme hotel were analyzed,which provided some guiding significance for later design and practice of the paper.(3)Based on previous theoretical analysis,some research on hotel types, owner requirements, surrounding environments and the target groups were down,the overall design positioning determined, sketch of design was drawn and final design was finished.(4)Construction was put into practice.
