With the development of the chemical industry,accurate measurement of the liquid level requirements are getting higher and higher.Among the lots of liquid level measuring method,the ultrasonic liquid level measurement as a non-contact measuring method, it has some characteristics such as anti-interference, non-contact, easy installation, corrosion resistance and so on, which got more and more used in the field of liquid level measurement.For the liquid level measurement in a sealed container of tank, most of the liquid level measuring methods undermine its own structure of tank, or failed to realize a precise measurement of liquid level in the container of sealed tank.The traditional method of ultrasonic liquid level measurement by the installation of the mechanical structure could also damage the structure of tank.The main purpose of this dissertation was to design a liquid level measurement based on the ultrasonic,which could realize liquid level measurement in a sealed container under the condition of without destroying structure of the tank.Related reference from the domestic and foreign mature project, the dissertation adopted a ultrasonic transducers with compact size and convenient measurement, which mainly designed a measuring device that as the core of the system with the ATMEGA1284.The equipment mainly consisted of four parts which including transducer, transmitter, display parts and machinery installation.The transmitter included hardware circuit and software programming.Hardware circuit consisted of power supply circuit, ultrasonic transmitting and receiving circuit, filter circuit, logarithmic amplifier circuit and so on, which integrated them into a safe and reliable device of ultrasonic liquid level measurement by the writing of the corresponding software debugging. Device adopted LCD 12864 to display and monitored with the PC,the instruction and data of the transmitter was transmitted to the PC to display by RS232.The part of machinery installation mainly designed a structure of mechanical installation complied with the this transducer, which could make it more flexible and firmly installed at the bottom of the container in a sealed tank and the maximum of decreased measuring error caused by installation was not reliable.The device had reached the expected goal which through the actual measure of the sealed container and the temperature and environment required by data and index.The device of the ultrasonic liquid level measurement was working properly, the measuring device was safe and reliable.
