In order to utilize space, high-rise, and super high-rise more efficiency, plus the number and the scale of subways run through the city are growing sharply. It involves lots of foundation pit projects, and motivated the development of those projects. The depth and difficulty of excavation is increasing. During the process of the foundation pit project, technique is very complicated, it requires high manpower, the length of the project is long, and risk is easy to occur. When risk happened, it will not only brings huge loss,but also cause the negative effect in the society. So take the process of construct the foundation pit as research target. Use the right method to appropriately assess the risk, and effectively control the risk is a meaningful topic, so the research contents of this article are as follows:Based on the related literature and materials, the risk assessment model of foundation pit construction is established. Expert investigation method can be applied to identify the potential risk in the process of the construction of foundation pit, and then the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and quantitative calculation can be used to determine the comprehensive risk levels, combined with the technical specifications and engineering experience to put forward the corresponding risk control. With the establishment of foundation pit construction risk warning and control system, the monitoring can be processed continuously as a routine method of risk monitoring. By the means of getting a cycle of the monitoring data, the alarm value set before could be compared, the risk events could be analyzed, and the feedback could be reported in time.Finally, by taking the foundation pit engineering of south gate area reconstruction project of Xi’an as the research object, using the established risk assessment model to evaluate the construction risk, and make the reasonable and effective control measures;Using the established risk early warning and control system of foundation pit constrction, through the spot monitoring and data analysis, it can proves that:in this paper, the risk assessment model of the foundation pit construction in the whole process is correct and applicable, the measures of risk control which has been made is rational and effective, all of these ensure the safety and completion of the construction of foundation pit.
