Pile foundation engineering is one of the main basic forms of industrial and civil construction, transportation, harbor, municipal and underground engineering. Rational use of pile foundation can effectively control the deformation and improve the seismic performance of buildings, so as to ensure the long-term safety of buildings. Because of punching pile driver has simple construction process, high suitability and has no special requirements for stratum, etc, it plays an important role in many construction sites at present.But the vast majority of the punching pile drivers are manual operation, it requires frequent operation of clutch and brake lever. It wastes much manpower. After revealed and statistics, currently, punching pile driver is widely used and the market demand is large. This requires a higher standard for the performance requirements. It is very necessary to develop a kind of pile driving machine which can be operated efficiently.Applying automatic control technology to the punching pile driver so as to make it work automatically,the construction efficiency will be greatly improved and the labor costs will be reduced.In this paper,through studing the construction technology and principle of the traditional manual punching machine, and through adding relevant sensors and pneumatic components,the mechanical structure of manual punching machine is modified;and some control algorithms are studied,such as FFT, expert system, etc; the hardware system based on MC9S12XS128 MCU is designed; the software system based on C is designed, which is based on Code Warrior. So the control equipment of punching pile driving machine is developed, in order to achieve the purpose of efficient operation of punching pile driver.Through the research of FFT, the time value of the hammer signal is transformed into frequency domain to analysis and process.Thus,both the stability of signal detection and the reliability of whole system are improved.By the research of expert system, combined with the experience parameters provided by the site construction wokers, expert knowledge base is built and control rule table is made in order to control extra length of rope accurately. When facing clay layer, gravel layer, bedrock layer and other kinds of geological environment,the machine can guarantee higher working efficiency and construction quality.And debugged in the construction of Hanzhoung Lueyang county, Zhenba county and other construction sites, it finally founds that, the control equipment of the piling machine developed by this project can achieve the purpose of high efficiency. It can basically expert controls the length of the rope according to different geological types. During the period of construction site debugging, the control equipment is running well, the construction progress and construction quality of pile foundation have been improved obviously. It obtains the construction personnel’s unanimous praise. It has a very good prospects for promotion. Besides, the results of this research won very high awards in national graduate student electronics competition and Shaanxi Province second session of graduate student achievement exhibition.
