With the rapid development of China’s auto industry and maintenance industry, the cleaning automation of engine and other parts of has become a crucial issue.This thesis focuses on the study of maintenance part of engine cleaning project with Zhengzhou’public transport company,aiming to design a set of intelligent water jet injection system, which can both satisfy the link of processing and maintenance.It has also make an research and design on the key technology of intelligent engine cleaning. The specific research contents include the following aspects:In the thesis,the author first analyzed the main components of the engine stains,introduced the mechanism of carbon deposition,jelly and other major components,studied the current variety of cleaning technologies and the detergents, and finally decided to use high pressure water jet method with special detergents for cleaning in the engine intelligent cleaning technology system. According to the requirements of the cleaning, the cleaning process planning was made,the composition and function of each subsystem of the intelligent cleaning machine were introduced, and the cleaning process was analyzed in detail.Secondly, the machine visual image processing technologies were applied in the intelligent engine cleaning system, aiming to realize the real-time acquisition of the distribution of stains and smudgy degree. Through preprocessing, segmenting and algorithm designing of the image,the degree of dirt stains were received.On the basis of this, and complying with fuzzy control theory, the intelligent water jet injection system with variable parameters can be developed.According to the information of smudgy degree and the volume of the engine size, the system can select the appropriate nozzle combination through fuzzy reasoning and decision making,so as to accurately control the water flow and pressure of the injection system.Thus, it can greatly reduce the usage of solvent detergent,cost savings and reduce environmental hazards. In the all, the author has determined the next bit machine PLC program of this system, and designed the process of whole system. Besides, the configuration software interface, data storage, data analysis, and communication with PLC are also studied. Through the intelligent control of the cleaning process of the engine, the precision and efficiency of water injection are improved, and the resources are saved. After verification, the engine intelligent cleaning system can achieve the expected technical requirements.
