Due to the over exploitation and utilization of human, conventional energy shortage has caused a series of environmental problems. Therefore, the use of renewable energy has gradually become the focus of scientists’ research. And in twenty-first Century, photovoltaic power generation will occupy an important place in the world’s energy consumption, as the main body of the world’s energy. With a large number of the photovoltaic power generation access to the distribution network, the traditional distribution network has been influenced to a certain extent. In this paper, the influence and control of the distributed PV grid connected to the distribution network are analyzed and studied in detail through some specific simulation and calculation examples. Main contents include:1) Power flow in the distribution network with distributed photovoltaic power supply is calculated. Using forward and backward generation algorithm to establish the power node calculation model, and a simple 6 node system as an example to do analysis, Due to the presence of various uncertainties in the photovoltaic power grid, the stochastic power flow is calculated, and the 14 node radial distribution network is used as the test system.2) The distributed photovoltaic power supply is connected to the grid with different power factor, and the effect of reactive power and voltage distribution in the power distribution network it causes is discussed. Also, effects of distributed photovoltaic power supply with different capacity and different positions on reactive power and voltage distribution of distribution network are researched.3) The basic scheme of voltage regulation and reactive power control in the distribution network with distributed photovoltaic power supply is discussed. First of all, the instruction current is calculated for the photovoltaic grid connected system with reactive power compensation function, which realizes reactive current compensation and photovoltaic power generation connected to grid. Secondly, SVC and the distributed photovoltaic power supply are adjusted to change the voltage, and a control strategy based on distributed photovoltaic power supply and SVC is proposed to improve the voltage distribution of distribution network.4) Range of node voltage deviation and local consumption of photovoltaic power are used as constraint conditions to study on the maximum access capacity of the distributed photovoltaic power supply connected to distribution network. The capacity of the regional power grid to accept distributed photovoltaic power is analyzed, which has considered the reserve capacity constraint.
