Landscape Planning And Design Of The New City Linear Park In Chifeng

Recently, rapid development has been achieved in our Chinese economy, so people propose more and more demands on city’s environment. However, cities’ environment constructions are far from ever-growing demands of people. People are more eager to own a more widespread and convenient natural space that can return to nature and balance their inner heart. It will bring pollutions with different degrees to natural environment with the development of modern industry, rapid progress of the construction of urban modernization, increase in population and increasing number in modern mechanical operations. The green lands in cities have positive effects on protecting ecological environment and maintaining ecological balance, to ease environment pollutions of cities. With the social development up to now, the mankind has wishes and abilities to create beauty. Therefore "Park City" has become the goal of more beautiful living environment being pursued by people. But it is difficult to turn it into reality. The hardest thing is that offering a special land to build park for a city and it is not also a practicable to renewal of existing landscapes. Thus, improvement of urban landscapes should start from planning and design of green lands on streets and linear green spaces, which not only improves people’s quality of living environment, but also stands for image of that city.The theoretical background and actual background of linear green space are initially analyzed and studied in this text to confirm the purpose, meaning and content of this study in this text. Secondly, the relevant theoretical concept of linear parks shall be analyzed, and conclude and summarize basic characters of urban linear parks through comprehensively studying relevant theories and construction rules of urban linear parks from home and abroad. Regarding improvement of living environment as the overall target and ecological environment of cities as the main destination of Chifeng City by combining local geographical condition and historical humanism based on theories such as landscape ecology, environmental psychology and praxeology. Integrating local cultural connotations and historical cultures into its landscapes to reflect Chifeng City, as the cultural ancient city, which owns splendid cultures and long history based on meeting demands from citizens’ entertainment. On the basis of the above study, choosing the linear park from Xincheng District of Chifeng City to design via organizing linear park’s space division, cluster historical cultures and plants allocations, which are aims at highlighting ecology, regionalism and nationality of urban green lands. Coagulating design method that offer reference of linear park in north ethic group and laying the foundation of creating famous "Chinese Famous Grassland Eco-cultural Tourism City".
