New energy technologies such as photovoltaic and wind power are developing rapidly and used widely with the increasing serious issues of energy and environment. These intermittent renewable energies are mainly appplied in distribution network as distributed generations in which there will be some influences. The active distribution network (ADN) is an effective approach to efficiently use distributed generations and make it possible for high-penetration intermittent energy consumption.This paper focuses on the planning of active distribution network for the abosoption of large-scale intermittent energy. Establish a series of evaluation of intermittent energy’s access as the reference of the 3 plannings. Modeling the encertainty of wind, solar power and load. Use penetrating level to characterize the ablity of intermittent engergy consumption and set up an objective function of penetrating level. Define distribution power system operation homogeneity to describe the influence of intermittent energy’s access on power system homogeneity. Set up the model of optimal planning of large-scale intermittent energy abosoption for active distribution network, set a double objective function of the least annual cost of distribution system operation and the maximum penetrating level,and use Pareto optimization strategies, in the same time put forward decision making method based on target measure, so as to flexibly deal with the more important objective function according to the decision maker’s preference, and run power flow to sovle the plans of distribution network planning through cell membrane optimization. And the result demonstrates that the double objective function can both guarantee the economy benefits of distribution system operation and abosopt intermittent energy as much as possible. Then compare and analysis different plans according to the uncertainty of load. The optimal planning of large-scale intermittent energy abosoption for active distribution network coordinates the need of more intermittent energy’s consumption and economy benefit of distrbution system operation, it can obtain relatively reasonable plan.
