Application Research Of New Energy Sources On A College Campus

Taking Ningxia Polytechnic as a sample, this paper analyzs the energy systems on campus and proposes a new clean energy sytem for Ningxia Polytechnic as an alternative energy system. It does researches on the energy consumptions on campus and gets the statistics of general energy consumptions including the models of energy-consuming equipments and volume of various energy consumptions, many of the statistics are from the general logistics department in Ningxia Polytechnic and author’s research, and it figures out the current energy structure and each energy consumptions, after comparing various power supplies, the paper selects solar power, wind power and biogas as the alternative energy on campus and illustrates the functions and applications of new energy, which shows that new energy is highly profitable despite the economic cost and environment cost. Therefore, the paper suggests to replace parts of current traditional energy with new energy, along with the suggestion, it also offers a reference scheme. In the end of the paper, it proposes the further application of new energy on campus as well as constructing a green and harmonious campus.
