With the depletion of fossil fuels, the limit of energy supply, and the change of climate, all countries in the world recognize the importance of renewable energy, including wind power. At present, the problem of poor integration and consumption has become the impediment to the sustainable and healthy development of China’s wind power challenges. We need to seek ways to improve the acceptance of wind power from two dimensions of technology and policy. Based on this background, this paper puts forward a complete set of mechanisms to improve the capacity of the wind power, which includes the evaluation system, policy system, technical means and practical application, which has important theoretical significance and practical reference value.The evaluation system of wind power acceptance capability is an analysis tool to improve the capacity of wind power, this paper analyzes the factors affecting the wind power generation from two levels of grid side and wind power, forming a evaluation system, and the evaluation process.Policy means is to improve the acceptance of wind power, and the policy means in the short term effect is significant. This paper proposes to four principles, four mechanisms of acceptance ability (wind power quota mechanism, Wind power subsidy mechanism, two-part tariff system suitable for wind power, Regulatory mechanisms to promote the acquisition of wind power) and regulatory policy.Technology is the fundamental to improve the capacity of the wind power. In this paper, we consider the economic and environmental benefits as the goal, establish the optimal scheduling model based on the minimum cost and minimum carbon emissions. The paper analyzes the impact of carbon emissions, operating cost of wind power, spinning reserve coefficient by an example. Increasing carbon emissions, reducing the operating cost of wind power and the spinning reserve coefficient are suggested.Micro grid and demand side response is one of the end result of improving the capacity of wind power. In this paper, we analyze the positive effect of the micro grid and the demand side response to the improvement of the wind power, and propose the future development direction of the two.
