Environment pollution and energy shortage become the two major challenges facing the development of automobile industry in recent years, and they have seriously restricted the sustainable development of Chinese economy. With the increasingly stringent emission regulations, energy conservation and environmental protection have been the subjects of current automotive industry development. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle(PHEV) which can use external power grid for charging, with the characteristic of long range of pure electric driving and a good fuel economy has become an important technical approach to achieve the goal of vehicle energy conservation and emission reduction in the new generation of electric vehicle development plan for many countries.Based on the background of the national innovation project, contents of this paper are mainly the following aspects:Firstly, according to the structure characteristics of plug-in 4WD hybrid vehicle and the demands of automotive performance index, the type and parameters of engine、 electric drive motor、integrated starter generator(ISG)、battery and transmission system are designed. On this basis, the basic working modes are analyzed, and a kind of rule-based logic threshold control strategy is built. Based on the secondary development of ADVISOR, the vehicle and control strategy models are established and simulated, and the simulation results verify the rationality of parameter matching and the design of control strategy.Secondly, in order to achieve the optimal allocation of vehicle energy, a joint optimization system is established in ADVISOR and MATLAB. Based on genetic algorithm, the single objective and multi-objective optimization of the parameters of the powertrain component and control strategy are carried out. Optimization results show that under the premise of meeting the vehicle dynamic performance index, the vehicle fuel economy and emission performance have been further improved, the rationality of the optimization method is verified. Meanwhile, in order to make the optimization process more convenient and concise, a kind of parameter optimization software is designed under the environment of MATLAB.At last, in order to develop the excellent driving safety performance of the plug-in 4WD hybrid vehicle, an antiskid control strategy is established based on the joint simulation platform of CarSim and Simulink. Simulation results show that the antiskid control strategy can effectively reduce the slip ratio of wheels, and ensure the safety of vehicle.
