The basic characteristic of the permeability of fractured rock mass is the most important basic theory and application technology of bedrock hydrogeology. The study on the low permeability of fractured media is a tough problem in the basic studies of bedrock hydrogeology. The study on the permeability of fractured rock mass media has provided reliable basis and theoretical support for the assessment of water resources, environmental impact, radionuclide migration, geological hazard and many other issues. It is also of great importance to the construction of nuclear power plants. Let’s take the Hekui nuclear power plant in Xiajiang county of Jiangxi province as an example, the coefficient of plant rock’s permeability will be measured by using water pressure test, pumping test and comprehensive analysis. Firstly, it studies the hydro-geological conditions of Hekui nuclear power plant in Xiajiang county of Jiangxi province; the last is about the rock permeability of Hekui nuclear power plant in Xiajiang county of Jiangxi province; The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The groundwater recharge of the nuclear plant is from the precipitation infiltration, and the ground water level is basically consistent with the terrain. The flat shaped hills in the tested filed become the topographic divide, which is also the natural watershed of groundwater in this field. The groundwater inflows into Huangjiang from the two sides of watershed and then finally flows into Gan River. The groundwater is scarce in the plant, water inflow and permeability shows uniformity with the rock weathering and the development of joints fractures.(2)The permeability coefficient of the quaternary loose pore is 2.0~1.0×10-2cm/s,which has high permeability; Completely weathered permeability coefficient of T3 X and T3 S are from 2.01×10-3 to 2.89×10-3cm/s, which is medium permeability. The permeability of moderate breeze and medium weathering is mainly located from 0.63 to 0.96Lu(permeability coefficient is from 7.00×10-6 to 1.17×10-5 cm/s), which is the low permeability and the main rock mass in the nuclear plant belongs to this group.(3)With the increasing depth of the burial rock, more rock on the top will cause more pressure, which causes the tendency of decrease in corresponding core permeability and porosity in some extent. Due to the low permeability of the rock core shows thecharacteristics of fine pore, the influences of the upper rock’s pressure on the core rocks permeability will become more obvious. With the slight decrease of pore volume, the permeability will also decrease drastically.(4)With the increasing depth of rock, the degree of weathering will become weakened, the permeability coefficient will show the tendency of weakening with the increasing of burial depth.
