As an important tool to obtain the ground information, aerial cameras have been widely used in military and civil fields. Owing to the broad covered imaging area, the aerial camera with wide field of view has become the mainstream of the market.According to the project requirements, this paper designs a stabilization and scan control system of aerial camera with light weight and wide field of view based on DSP+FPGA. The system chooses TMS320F28335 as the main controller and EP3C25F256 FPGA as the assistant controller, implementing the stabilization of the line of sight and camera swing scanning. The main work are listed as following:Firstly, This paper studies on system composition, main apparatuses and essential principle of stabilization of line of sight and swing scanning, meanwhile, analyses the key factors affecting the performance of the control system.Secondly, This paper designs the three controllers of current-loop, rate-loop, position-loop based on the engineering design method, and optimizes the controllers’ parameters with the improved Particle-Swarm-Optimization, and designs the motor swing scanning curve of ―S + trapezia‖.Thirdly, This paper builds the software and hardware system of DSP + FPGA, implementing the data acquisition of gyros, encoders and the data’s median filter algorithm with FPGA. Utilizing the FIFO, this paper achieves the communication between DSP and FPGA, and implementing the integral separation digital PID algorithm with DSP.Lastly, this paper does the experiments. The results indicate that the designed control system can isolate the disturbance of the carrier and implement the camera swing scanning. In the end of the paper, a conclusion has been drawn and some advices have been suggested.
