Use the adapter to transmit is a more advanced technology in current times, it has a relatively simple structure and very convenient loading. Adapter play a role of supporting and fixating the missile, emitted with the missile when the missile moving in, the barrel play a role of locating and guiding missiles. In the whole launching process, the adapter mainly protect the missile out of the barrel and transfer the load between the missiles and launchers. After the missile get out of the barrel, adapter separates from the missile under the separation means, in this progress the cylinder wake flow field, aerodynamic effect of the atmosphere outside the cylinder, the gas jets firing missiles effects will influence the adapter and will cause damage or other adverse effects on the transmission system. Therefore, how to ensure between the missile body and the adapter separate reliable is one of the key technologies to improve the combat effectiveness, and also improve the success rate of the necessary conditions for launching.Based on the completion of the modeling and meshing of the adapters, the simulated wind tunnel computing of adapters was finished, and a table of aerodynamic parameters of the adapter is worked out. The aerodynamic characteristics of the adapter were analyzed trough the calculation results; the entity model of the missile launch box was completed in the Pro / E, the data transmission between interfaces in ADAMS was implemented, establishing basis for the solving of multi-body dynamic model for the vehicle system; the rigid multi-body dynamic model of the launch box was established in ADAMS, and the aerodynamic parameters table obtained by loading the ADAMS subroutine was linked to the model for simulation calculations. Data like placement distribution of adapters were obtained; simulating with the model established, the results shows that the placements of the adapters when the wind speed is small are more close to the launch vehicles, which will be hazardous to the device and operating personnel; a more secure structure of adapter was found by analyzing the distribution characteristics of adapters in different structures.
