The coordinated control of attitude is an important part of satellite formation flying. To fulfill the task requirements of the formation flying and make full use of the advantage of satellite formation, high precision relative attitude coordinated control is necessary. This paper makes a thorough study of the model of relative attitude control of satellite formation flying and the distributed simulation technology. In addition, considering the limitation of numerical simulation, this paper put forward a relative attitude distributed simulation system witch are consisted of simulation computer, controller, flywheel simulator. The main research results of this paper is as follows.(1) On the basis of single satellite researching model, we propose the relative satellite attitude dynamics model and relative kinematic model. Also we propose the relative satellite attitude error dynamics model and relative error kinematic model. Then, in the cases of the presence of the interference torch, we propose the sliding mode control and the back stepping control of relative satellite attitude.(2) In the cases that we can’t calculate the precise expression of the system, we propose the RBF neural networks adaptive control using the approximation capability of RBF neural networks.The RBF neural networks can estimate the unknown value of system parameter basing on the variables that can measure. We can achieve the balance between speed and vibration by using this control method.(3) Doing the research of satellite formation relative attitude control Closed-loop simulation system. The system is consisted of software and hardware simulator witch are organized as the real structure of relative attitude control system. The system show how the components work and influence each other. This system can be used to test the results of control algorithm and to analysis the signal of components.
