Product design is most creative stage in product development process, it can be regarded as a process that generating new knowledge based on the accumulated knowledge. In the product design field, around 70% of design work is adaptive design and variant design, and around 60% of new product design is based on the accumulated knowledge and experience, therefore, organize the existing design resources and complete reuse or partially modify the organized resources is regarded as a better way to improve the efficiency and quality of product design when there is a new demand.However, the study of product design knowledge integration work ignore the expansibility of the integration method, lack of the semantic modeling method during the process of knowledge integration and combining method and semantic retrieval mechanism. To solve above problems, this paper presented a cross-platform knowledge integration technology for product design, researched on the configurable template technology for knowledge integration, the mixed ontology modeling method, and cross-platform semantic retrieval. And this paper was verified by the case of the armored vehicle design process. The detailed research content are as follows:(1) Aiming at the knowledge characteristic and the demand for knowledge integration of the armored vehicle design process, this paper put forward the framework of crossplatform knowledge integration for product design. And this paper also proposed the three key problems: the configurable template, the construction method of the mixed ontology and the semantic retrieval mechanism.(2) Based on the framework of knowledge integration, this paper used the configurable template technology, and presented the knowledge integration technology basing on configurable template. For the knowledge forms and classification of the armored vehicles, seven kinds of knowledge templates were built and configured.(3) Research on construction model and principle of the mixed ontology. For three kinds of situation of knowledge integration, this paper showed the construction method respectively of the mixed ontology. For the design process of the armored vehicle, a mixed ontology was built, verified the effectiveness and operability.(4) For realizing integration of the information and semantic network, research on the semantic retrieval based on the mixed ontology. The parallel semantic retrieval, semantic relevance ranking method, the reconstruction and semantic consistency of the knowledge were studied for strengthening the semantic relations between product engineers and knowledge.(5) On the basis of theoretical research, designed and developed product design knowledge integration system. The system realized platform information, knowledge database, template and ontology management, verified the validity of the knowledge integration method by integrated semantic retrieval. |
