Breakwater plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability of water in the harbor, as well as the safety of the living area behind the embankment, on which anti-wave wall is always set to reduce the over-topping. Arc anti-wave wall, as a special type of structure, can guide almost all the water to reentry with the arc, which can reduce overtopping significantly. Large wave load will be produced at the same time, however, which is detrimental to the overall stability of the wall. It is of great significance and realistic meaning to further the research of wave effects on arc anti-wave wall.Arc anti-wave wall based on composite sea embankment is taken as the research object in this paper. The wave load on arc anti-wave wall is studied through cross-section model test. The main work content:(1) Respectively based on single factor alternative method and orthogonal method, a series of tests are designed and completed.(2) Through the analysis of test data, the wave load on arc anti-wave wall changing with water depth, wave height as well as wave period is concluded, so is that changing with the slope gradient and the height and width of wave platform of composite sea embankment.(3) The calculation formula of the horizontal wave force on arc anti-wave wall is fitted,based on current research achievements and the test data in this paper.(4) The wave load sensitivity analysis of arc anti-wave wall to water depth, wave height and wave period is completed by orthogonal analysis, so is that to the slope gradient, the height and width of platform.Through the study in this paper, wave pressure distribution rule on the waveward surface of arc anti-wave wall based on composite sea embankment is obtained. Wave load changing with relevant influencing factors, statistical regularity of wave load in irregular waves and the fitting formula of horizontal wave load is obtained too. Sensitivity results of wave load on arc anti-wave wall to relevant influencing factors are analyzed. In the end, a wave load testing device is proposed aiming at the shortcomings of the pressure integral method.
