With the rapid development of automobile industry, the problem of environmental pollut ion,energy shortage, resource depletion has become more and more outstanding, and the effec tive solution is to develop new energy vehicles. Pure electric vehicle has become the focus of the national government and scientific research institutions. The research of pure electric vehi cle has become a hot spot in the automobile industry.Motor system is the core system of pure electric vehicles, like the engine in the engine. Bec-ause of its short, high efficiency, compact structure, the hub motor has a wide application prospect in the development of electric vehicle. Electric vehicles can be used in part or all of t he electricity can be driven, and electric energy can be obtained through other forms of energy. The vehicle’s braking energy recovery and utilization, can improve the utilization rate of the automobile energy, it is also the hot issue of electric vehicle technology exploration.This paper first outlines the development of electric vehicle technology at home and abroad, to Study the motor and its control technology, the key parts of the motor drive system of pure electric vehicle. And analyze the control principle and control method of Brushless DC motor.Secondly, the EMS software system is used to modulate the DC brushless controller. It can observe the working process of the motor in different conditions. The EMS software is us ed to simulate the process. The simulation results show that the energy conversion process of t he electric vehicle is simulated. The simulation device is modulated, and is demonstrated.
