In recent years, China’s economic have developed rapidly, the demand for energy continues to grow, but also increased the damage to the environment, contrary to our country’s sustainable development strategy. So there is an urgent need to find new energy. The use of solar energy will not produce pollution, so the solar energy gradually attractes people’s attention. Our country’s solar energy resources is rich, has the potential of development and utilization. Especially in recent years, the photovoltaic industry has been paid attention by government, so it has got a rapid development.The design and implementation of 5MW photovoltaic project of Shenzhen airport, which is the first in the national civil airports, has a great theoretical and engineering value to explore the application of clean renewable energy in civil airports.This paper summarizes the achievements and development of photovoltaic power generation at home and abroad; To investigate the solar energy resources in Shenzhen area and make the overall design of the Shenzhen airport PV project, Including equipment selection, PV array design, and the completion of the calculation and prediction of power generation; Through the studies in the project location with development trends and characteristics of the electric load, calculation and analysis of the access point power consumptive capacity, proposed power consumptive access system solutions; The design of electrical system of photovoltaic power station is completed, including the design of main electrical wiring system, PV module system design, inverter box transformer system design, switch cabinet system design and a list of main electrical equipment; Design of integrated automation system for power station; The construction procedure, method and schedule are put forward, and the result of the research and calculation of the operation data of the power station can get the conclusion that the efficiency of the power station can meet the design requirements.The research content of this paper has reference value to the construction of large roof photovoltaic power station in China.
